Top Grain Cowhide
Top Grain Cowhide is a very nice, soft feeling, yet
durable light weight leather (3/4 oz.) This leather makes great shotgun chaps,
but is not really durable for heavy ranch work. Moccasin
Cowhide
Moccasin Cowhide is a soft but strong leather (5/6 oz.) This is
a very comfortable top grain leather that is a little more bulky than the
top grain listed above, but is durable enough for ranch work. This leather
works well for Shotguns, Batwings, and Chinks. Oil Tan Chap
Leather
Heavier and stiffer than Moccasin Cowhide. Comes in natural
colors and keeps the weather out. This leather , in our experience is pretty
stiff for shotgun chaps but works well for Batwing and Chinks that will be used
in all weather conditions ! Makes great work chaps for heavy ranch work.
