Our Shop & Ranch

The pages in this part of our site are designed to give you an idea of who we are and what we do. The Rim Ranch is a family owned ranch located in north central Logan County, Colorado. We live on the high plains of the eastern slope in what most years we like to refer to as "God's Country".

We attempt to live a life we enjoy in the midst of  today's complex American agricultural situation. Part of that pleasure comes from doing everything we can on horseback. Occasionally a trailer is used and cattle are shipped to market by semi-trucks. To make a good "ranch horse" takes time and miles. We hope to offer a few good ones for sale occasionally at this site.

Visit the "Horse" page to see photos and descriptions of our ranch horses that are for sale. Since no two days are ever the same on a working cattle ranch, you can find out what is currently happening here on the prairie by clicking the " Meanwhile back at the ranch" page!  (You may even find a story told by our Australian Shepherd dog, Blue.  His spelling is terrible, but his perception of our goings-on provides comic relief in the middle of hectic days!)
